Family reunification services aim to support and facilitate the restoration and strengthening of family relationships. These services are designed to assist families who have experienced separation or disruption due to various factors such as child welfare concerns, parental substance abuse, domestic violence, or other challenging circumstances.
Family reunification services:
- Assessment and Planning: We will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by the family. Based on the assessment, a personalized plan will be developed to address those needs and set goals for reunification.
- Counseling and Therapy: Our team will provide individual and family counseling to help family members navigate their emotions, improve communication, and develop healthy coping strategies. This can involve therapeutic techniques aimed at healing past wounds and building positive relationships within the family.
- Parenting Education and Skill-Building: We can offer parenting education programs or workshops to enhance parenting skills, promote positive discipline strategies, and improve parent-child interactions. These programs can empower parents to create a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.
- Mediation and Conflict Resolution: In cases where there are conflicts or strained relationships within the family, one of our social workers can facilitate mediation sessions to promote understanding, encourage dialogue, and find common ground for resolution. This can help rebuild trust and strengthen family bonds.
- Referrals and Resource Coordination: Our team can connect families with community resources and services that can provide additional support. This may include referrals for substance abuse treatment, mental health services, housing assistance, or financial resources, depending on the family's needs.
- Advocacy and Support: Our social workers act as advocates for the family, helping them navigate the legal system, connect with appropriate agencies, and access necessary services. They provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the reunification process.
- Monitoring and Follow-up: A social worker monitors the progress of the reunification plan, conducts regular check-ins with the family, and adjusts interventions as needed. Our team provides continued support to ensure the family's successful reunification and help them maintain stability in the long term.
Cost for family reunification services:
Please note that family reunification services are not covered by medical insurance and must be paid out of pocket. The initial session is a new client intake appointment and is priced at $185. Subsequent sessions are $130 each, unless a medical necessity is identified during the intake and the client has insurance accepted by our clinic. All fees are charged per person, per session.
